More About Jane

It is through my art I try to capture the essence of humanity, its beauty, its vulnerabilities, strengths, and the immense range of emotions we all experience. I find great joy in the process of bringing these thoughts to life on canvas or in written form.

As a self-taught artist, I relish the freedom to explore various techniques and experiment with different mediums.  My love for creating faces and angels stems from the deep connection they bring to hope. Expressions have always fascinated me, as they are windows into the soul, reflecting the multitude of emotions and stories that lie within each person.

In my art, I strive to convey these emotions through the use of color, texture, and brushstrokes. Whether I am painting or sketching, I want to elicit a response from my viewers, to evoke empathy, introspection, or even a simple smile. I am humbled and grateful for the opportunity to touch the lives of others through my art. I

As an avid word collector, I often find inspiration from literature, poetry, and personal narratives. These stories and experiences shape the narratives I create for my characters, giving them depth and hopefully, allowing them to resonate with others. Through my art, I strive to weave a tapestry of inspiration and connection.

In the end, one of my greatest joy comes from being able to share a piece of my heart with the world, one brushstroke or written word at a time.
