Cherished

Watercolors out, I sketched this girl from a magazine photo. Her beautiful tiara drew me to her!! After the sketch, I started with the water coloring... Added some black fine tip lines to the tiara, as i finished up with the hair outline.  I decided to add a banner and some stars hanging from the top. Then I debated about what to add to the right side to offset the words I had penciled. I was really thinking about a bird on her shoulder but decided on a butterfly instead. I drew those things in with my mechanical pencil."Grace says that even though I am flawed, I am cherished"   Love that!!!  Now, it was ready for the other colors to be added... She is almost finished but had to get my white uniball marker to highlight a bit and I did add that bird after all at the very top on the banner!! There is almost a shadow on this one at the top that I am seeing now, so guess I need to scan it for a better picture, but not tonight!!Linked with Sunday Sketches Blue Diary illustrationsHave a wonderful new week!Love,Jane
