Happy Mother`s Day

  Mother`s day has rolled around again. This year is the 5th I have had without Mother. So many sweet memories flood my mind as I continue to miss her and think of her. She always loved to make angels with her ceramics or hand work. So when I paint my angels, they  remind me of her. I always gravitate toward angels when I am doing faces or girl bodies. So, this week was no different. I have started a few new ones, have added to a few old ones, and have started to get a little collection of these angels!!I am so enjoying the distressed wood from an old barn that has been torn down. My friend has given me buckets of it and says there is more when I finish using these up. LOL.. that may be pretty soon. With summer here, I have a few extra days a week that I am planning to utilize well.My first goal is to unclutter my house. Closet by closet and room by room. Then I will have me some paint time!! Until then.. here are a few that I got done this week, these angels of mine.This first one, I call my Dolly Angel.
